“Science? There’s An App For That”
In 2006, New York University (NYU) students of the Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program (SHERP) created the online magazine Scienceline with the motto “the shortest distance between you and science”.
Recently they developed an iPad app for the magazine. The Scienceline iPad app, created using Mag+ software, began a fun
new way to explain scientific concepts and reach a broader audience. The goal was to create a digital collection of their best science stories and take advantage of the visual, interactive nature of the iPad.
